Highly recommended, July 2009
I have little to add to the numerous positive comments already posted. 5 of us stayed 3 nights in apt 3 and would happily have stayed longer if time had permitted. Great location and Ana was the perfect host.

What can we say about Ana and her lovely house...
You have probably already read about its great location, large rooms, stunning views, good price and friendly welcome.
What you might not have read about is what genuinely lovely people Ana and her husband are.
They were very understanding when we had to check out a day early in order to catch our ferry and even drove us to the bus station at 6am. Then two hours later when we discovered we had left our ipod touch in the room, Ana ensured that it was posted first class recorded delivery back to the UK!!! It got back before we did. Thanks again Ana!
A wonderful experience!, August 2008
We just got back from staying two nights in one of Ana's apartments. It was fantastic. The apartments are literally a 2 minute walk to a fabulous beach and less than a 10 minute walk to the center of the town. Ana's husband, Ante, was kind enough to pick us up from the ferry port which was great because a cab driver was trying to charge us 30 Euros (clearly a rip-off). We also changed the dates of our stay at the very last minute and Ana was extremely accommodating and changed the dates without any question. The apartments are clean, functional, and had plenty of hot water (which was lacking at other apartments in Croatia). Hvar was fantastic and we were so sad to leave - 2 days was not enough. The Pakleni islands were amazing. I would recommend anyone going to Hvar to stay with Ana and Ante.
Comfortable, clean, good location and accommodating host, August 2007
Ana, the owner and host, was absolutely wonderful. She met us at the ferry upon arrival and had great recommendations on where to go. The location is good, the apartment we stayed in was not amazing, but it was certainly comfortable and clean. It had a bedroom, bath w shower, living room and balcony. I believe it also may have had a kitchen, but since I wasn't using it... On our last day, Ana helped us out by letting us spend the day walking around town and then was nice enough to let us leave our luggage at the apartments, which she then brought to us at the ferry! Cash only, like many places in Croatia
Amazing place, June 2007
We cannot say anything but the best about Anna's place, we stayed there for 2 nights, June 8 - 10, 2007. We had 6 people, so we had the downstairs 3 room and two bathroom, and a kitchen and a front patio right by the vineyards. It was amazing! We cooked in the kitchen and had dinner on the patio and then went to party in Hvar! Anna's home made cognac and wine definitely helped with that :) The main Hvar center is a short 5 min walk and so is the castle. The Hvar center itself is tiny, so everything is close. You also get a great sea view from Anna's.
She goes out of her way to help you, she offered to pick us up and then got her friend, a taxi driver, to give us a very discounted lift to her place.
We love her place and the value is unbeatable. Everything is very clean, but more towels and some basic things like salt and pepper in the kitchen would help. But the place is just heaven, especially for a large group. We were very sorry we stayed only 2 nights.
We will be back and recommend to anyone else to stay here. Also suggest you rent a boat for a day when in Hvar.
