I have just stayed at Sipa Apartments with my sister and a friend and we had a wonderful time. The apartment was quite spacious and the view from our balcony was simply beautiful and will remain with us for a very long time. Our wonderful hosts, Božo and Maruška, made us extremely welcome and were always on hand if we needed any assistance. The position was perfect for us - just 10 minutes from the Old Town. There were quite a few steps to climb to reach the apartment, but well worth it for that view! We look forward to returning one day.

Excellent Apartment with Stunning View,  May 2010
Stayed in Sipa apartment D during May. Had a really wonderful stay and can highly recommend Sipa apartment to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik that wishes to have the best view of the old town.
Once arrived, we were given the key to the apartment, and the owner took time to show us around. The apartment itself is like in the pictures on their website - clean, spacious, with really stunning view of the old town. It consistes of a kitchen, a shower with toilet, and a bedroom. You also get one parking space. The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you really need i.e. sofa bed, microwave, stove, fridge with freezer, washing machine, plenty of sockets, iron and ironing board, cutleries, flat screen TV (19"?), and even a beach umbrella! The balcony is accessible through the living room or the bedroom, and has a table and a few chairs. The bed is comfortable. The only things I didn't like were that the wifi internet was available only in certain areas of the apartment with very low signal, and there was no shampoo provided...
Walking to old town and back can be quite challenging but definitely manageable by most. There is a shop about 200 metres to the left of the apartment and it has all the basic things you need.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Sipa apartment to anyone traveling to Dubrovnik and would definitely stay there again if possible!

We stayed in the apartment D for three days just beginning of November. Božo and Maruška are great hosts taking care of everything. We managed to catch three beautiful sunny days at the end of the season. We hope to come again sometimes in the future.

The most beautiful views imaginable,  October 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (in October) at the Sipa Apartments. We were collected at Dubrovnik airport by our hosts and on arrival at our apartment we were welcomed with cold drinks and refreshments. The apartment, we stayed in apartment D, was comfortable, clean and spacious. But the star was the very large balcony with the most fantastic views. We enjoyed the 180 degrees sea views, also overlooking the island of Lokrum (be sure to visit this) the old town, and watching the boats come in. The balcony has all day sunshine (facing east-west) and is comfortably furnished, including a sun umbrella.
The apartment's owners, Bozo and Marija, are extremely helpful and charming and did everything possible to make our make our stay enjoyable. The steps, mentioned by most reviewers, can be a drag sometimes, but can be easily managed even by those who are not so young anymore (like us). We have no hesitation in recommending the Sipa Apartments to anyone.
