The village was built on the foundations of a Roman fortification, which in those times was known as Mons Buttarum (later known as Mondellebotte) which allegedly comes from a stream in the area.

For those who like to enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere:
- MALVAZIJA - One room for two persons with ensuite bathroom
- MERLOT 3/1 bathroom, sat TV
- BORGONJA 2/1 bathroom, sat TV
- TERAN One suite accommodating up to four persons (bathroom, satellite TV and a sea view balcony)

Our guests can feed domestic animals (chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, goats, the cat, dogs etc.), enjoy endless walks around the wooded areas and meadows, pick our fruit, wild asparagus, mushrooms, blackberries, taste wine in the neighbourhood wine cellar, ride a bike (the property is situated on a cycling route), visit the world-known observatory in Visnjan and there are opportunities for hunting and everything else which can be found in a typical Istrian village.

Konoba "Milena" was opened in 1986 and is managed by the Stefanov family.

Here you can taste typical Istrian specialities, locally made wines and brandies, and among other things the hosts also offer homemade goats cheese and specially prepared white dried cod.

In Konoba "Milena" 60 guests can be seated in an original atmosphere which comprises a main restaurant and a separate room with an open fire, from where one can get a beautiful view out to the sea.
On the outdoor terrace under the shadow of fir trees 80 people can be comfortably seated and be able to enjoy one of the prettiest sunsets in the Adriatic.
